Key Responsibilities

  • Manage daily bookkeeping tasks such as recording invoices, payments, receipts, and journal entries with accuracy and efficiency.
  • Maintain precise and detailed general ledger records and conduct reconciliations.
  • Prepare and submit monthly VAT returns to ensure compliance with tax regulations.
  • Conduct reconciliations of bank accounts, supplier statements, and debtors’ accounts.
  • Assist with month-end and year-end closing processes to ensure timely and accurate completion of financial reports.
  • Support the preparation of management reports and financial statements, providing valuable insights and analysis.
  • Liaise with auditors and external accountants when necessary to ensure compliance with financial and company policies.

Minimum Requirements

  • Diploma or Degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
  • 2-3 years of experience in bookkeeping or junior accounting role.
  • Proficiency in accounting software (e.g. Sage, Xero, or QuickBooks).
  • Strong Excel and computer skills.
  • Attention to detail and accuracy are essential for this role.
  • Good organisational and communication skills.
